Sam Fintz - Sam is a senior technical data analytics and marketing technology (MarTech) independent consultant with a deep propensity for data-driven decision making and a demonstrated success collaborating across business functions to optimize business growth through data exploration and analysis. Sam mines, curates, and analyzes all types of data across many functions - marketing, product, operations, and finance - and in a variety of industries, from FinTech and Gaming to Semiconductors and Enterprise Software. Some of his current/former clients include PayPal, Intuit, Electronic Arts, Avalara, Integral, and ARM (Softbank).
Prior to analytics consulting, Sam held various technical product marketing, program management, and business development roles in the semiconductor (Cypress, Synaptics) and enterprise software (Citrix) spaces. In that capacity, Sam focused on driving revenue and market share, including working directly with customers and partners in Asia (Korea, China, Japan) and Europe. Sam has also previously been active and a Programs Chair with the MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida. Sam also holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
Sam loves learning languages (Hebrew, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese), debating geopolitics and international relations, and playing a variety of sports: tennis, racquetball, ping pong, ultimate frisbee, and especially basketball. Sam is originally from Miami, Florida and has traveled extensively (including living/working for 8 months in Tokyo/Yokohama, Japan and 1 year in Jerusalem, Israel) until ultimately settling down in the San Francisco Bay Area.
