Orit Efrat - Orit Efrat is the Head of the Procurement Center of Excellence in Western Digital. Orit is an expert of Process Excellence, Change Management, Responsible Supply Chain, Emerging Technologies (Deep ML, AI, Blockchain, IIOT) development and deployment in Operations and Supply Chain. Orit manages global key functions such as Process Automation, Advanced Analytics, Supply base Resiliency, Suppliers Diversity, Market Intelligence, M&A integration in the data storage market, Internal Communication, Career development and Learning programs.



Prior to Western Digital, Orit was the head of Global Purchasing at Orbotech (a KLA company). She also led various roles of Strategic Sourcing and Core R&D development programs at Applied Materials. Orit has a deep blend of business acumen and technology environment background in fast growing electronics and semiconductor global companies. Orit holds MA in Social Sciences from the EHESS (École des hautes études en sciences sociales) in Paris. She lives with her family in Palo Alto, CA.
