Ofer Wellisch - Ofer is a researcher, educator/mentor, and practicing clinician. He currently serves as Chief of Pain Medicine at Stamford Health (Stamford CT) and Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons (NYC). He is regarded as a key opinion leader in his field and has served in various advisory and collaborative roles with leading pharmaceutical (i.e. Bausch Health), medical device (i.e. Bioness, Boston Scientific, Medtronic) and medtech companies including Doximity and Upside Health (now Branch Health), where he is co-founder and CMO.

Following graduation from the The Sackler School of Medicine, Dr. Wellisch completed his clinical training in Pain Medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto CA where he subsequently served as Clinical Instructor of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine. Prior to his medical education, Dr Wellisch was honored with the Post-Baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) from NIH. His basic science training also includes post-doctorate fellowships in stem-cell biology and molecular neuroscience at New York University and Stanford University respectively.

Early on, Ofer was a cofounder of Tysam Networks, a social networking platform, launching college-based social networking websites Funki.jp and iStudent.co.il in Japan and Israel respectively. Tysam Networks merged with EQAL in early 2008, and EQAL was later acquired by Everyday Health in 2012.
